Just wanted to pool everyone's ideas into one thread. I got the idea from my last post when /u/waqwarrior posted about being able to reduce some of the negative effects of adderall. Can anyone else add to this short list or include sources for the ones already here? Also I realize that this list isn't for everyone but for those that do take it I think it would be helpful. Secondly, I am interested in reversal of negative effects because I am quitting tonight and would like to know my options. Thanks!

From his post:
>It is a fact that amphetamine is a powerful stimulant, though. This will increase the firing of glutamatergic receptors. Glutamate is an excitatory neurotransmitter. An overabundance of glutamate firing can lead to cell death, which is the last thing you want. L-Theanine mildly blocks NMDA and kainate receptors, which give it mildly neuroprotective effects - it's preventing (or at the least lessening) the negative effects of overexcitation. It also boosts GABA production; GABA is inhibitory, essentially glutamate's opposite (though it functions much differently, this comparison works for a simple explanation).
The type of stress your cells are under is often referred…
