Experiences with Trimethylglycine?

Howdy, this is my first post here and I'm not exactly sure if the supplement I'm taking can be classified as a Nootropic, so I apologize if this is the wrong sub-reddit.
Basically, I took a supplement for digestion that also happened to contain TMG. I discovered that the supplement does nothing for digestion, but I noticed that mental tasks have become easier, like staying focused on what I'm studying and retaining the information. I've also had problems with anxiety and since taking the supplement, the anxiety has been easier to control. After doing some research, I'm wondering if it was the Trimethylglycine that caused the improvement.
Is anyone else here using TMG and have you noticed any improvements?
Thank you for your replies.

are you supposed to take the TMG with anything to help it being used, like B vitamins or something else? Should it be taken on empty stomach?

It does not need to be taken with anything else. You can take it with food or on an empty stomach.
