Experiences with Trimethylglycine?

Howdy, this is my first post here and I'm not exactly sure if the supplement I'm taking can be classified as a Nootropic, so I apologize if this is the wrong sub-reddit.
Basically, I took a supplement for digestion that also happened to contain TMG. I discovered that the supplement does nothing for digestion, but I noticed that mental tasks have become easier, like staying focused on what I'm studying and retaining the information. I've also had problems with anxiety and since taking the supplement, the anxiety has been easier to control. After doing some research, I'm wondering if it was the Trimethylglycine that caused the improvement.
Is anyone else here using TMG and have you noticed any improvements?
Thank you for your replies.

Yes, I do. If you are a poor methylator, then it helps a lot. It drastically increases my energy and mood. I just took 500mg about an hour ago, actually. It will help your body donate methyl groups for various processes like catecholamine production and redox cycling.
