Experiences with Trimethylglycine?

Howdy, this is my first post here and I'm not exactly sure if the supplement I'm taking can be classified as a Nootropic, so I apologize if this is the wrong sub-reddit.
Basically, I took a supplement for digestion that also happened to contain TMG. I discovered that the supplement does nothing for digestion, but I noticed that mental tasks have become easier, like staying focused on what I'm studying and retaining the information. I've also had problems with anxiety and since taking the supplement, the anxiety has been easier to control. After doing some research, I'm wondering if it was the Trimethylglycine that caused the improvement.
Is anyone else here using TMG and have you noticed any improvements?
Thank you for your replies.

Interesting, thank you. My doctor talked to me about this before (In relation to high homocysteine levels) but she only suggested I take folic acid and vitamin b12, she never mentioned TMG.

I don't often see GPs that are informed about many of the supplements. You almost need to speak to a dietician to get good info. You can also look at SAMe. Many people have success with that.
