Can I ignore the negative health risks associated with Caffeine if I supplement it with l-theanine?

wow, thank you so much for this.

This is now making me questions whether I should be having 100mg of caffeine everyday

100mg is nothing. I wouldn't be worried about a small dosage like that. Some people have upwards of 1,000mg per day. That's when things get crazy. It's also going to vary depending on the person. I can take between 200mg and 400mg per day, without issue.

It also depends on when you dose. If you are consistent, and dose a similar times in the morning, then your sleep cycle should not be affected. If you start having it into the evening, then things change. I would not be too concerned over 100mg. L-theanine is definitely a good addition, though. Currently I am getting all my caffeine from green and black teas, which contain it. I also have an L-theanine supplement as well, for days when I am on modafinil.

Yep, my fault guys. I'll just stop posting, and things will get better. It's all on me... You can all go back to caffeine/L-theanine, long winded modafinil, and "does piracetam work" posts. No need to advance the communi

What is the best nootropic for someone looking primarily for a boost of energy and motivation that's stronger than caffeine but less extreme than amphetamines?

6mg of melatonin is too much. I take .5-1mg. Melatonin has been shown to be much more effective at lower doses. Lower your dose and see how that works. 6mg would mean a very hard time waking up, and hours of foggyness in

It's really very complicated. There is competitive binding affinities you have to consider. Plus, downstream mechanisms that may alter the effects. Not to mention the varying level of responses between different people.

Uhh, modafinil is one of the most expensive things out there! It has also been shown to develop tolerance, and can have side effects. Piracetam is cheap as hell, safe, does not develop a tolerance, and helps protect your

Replying to yegortimoshenko · Have you tried it along with l-theanine?

L-Theanine makes me sleepy, unless I am using stronger stimulants. I can take like 500-800mg caffeine alone without any jitters. I only use it if I am taking something stronger, like ephedrine, or mixing modafinil and ca
