Its been a while since anyone has posted about this but what do you guys honestly think of nicotine use (patch, gum, ecig, etc.) as a nootropic? What are the positives and negatives?

Where is the evidence that nicotine down-regulates ACH receptors? I've just never personally run into any studies that say that.

Sorry, I should have said desensitization. They actually up-regulate in response to this desensitization.
