Well think of it this way. So you say Scientologists don't believe in taking prescription medicine. I will still take prescription medecine when it is necessary, as recommended by a doctor. However, I will not go up to the nearest Scientologist while chugging a bottle of anti-biotics yelling "look at me, I'm taking medicine, take that, I'll probably live longer than you because of it." It is disrespectful not because you took the medecine, but because you made it a point to take it in spite of them and their beliefs (even if you were actually sick, to vocalise it with such malicious intent is, in my opinion, disrespectful). And that is where, in my opinion, you draw the line.

I completely understand. However, you must realize that you just drew that line. While I agree with this instance, it's a line we've drawn to say where the boundary of offensive and permissible is. More radical people within the church of Scientology see you even taking prescription drugs in the privacy of your home as offensive. They have drawn the line in a totally different place than you and I have. That is my point, who decides?
