Phoenix Metro AZ - liquor and beer permits are seperate but aren't precluded from being issued to the same vendor. Grocery store? Liquor and beer. Drug store? Liquor and beer. Gas station? Liquor and beer. Drive through convenience store? Liquor and beer.
No state stores, or any of that bullshit. Currently in a reasonably suburban area and there are probably a dozen places within a mile to buy both.
Just don't drink and drive, like that needs to be said.

And in Tempe, if you pay $10 for a day permit, you can have a gathering in the park and drink beer in public! We had beer Olympics one year, and a tattle tale like the one on the video called the cops on us drinking in public "next to children." Cop showed up and we pulled out the permit. He said, "Everything is in order here. They are doing nothing wrong" then went on his way.
