FOX News manipulates their forums in fear of having their lies pointed out

I signed onto Faux news as a member so that I could access their forums in the comments section and helpfully point out their misstatements and misrepresentation of blatant facts. However, interestingly enough I gathered many, many "likes". Recently I attempt to log on, and after I do I will load a story page. On the toolbar to the side, the "comments" tab appears for a moment, then disappears completely, thus denying me access. I think it's kinda funny. Now I have to go through the trouble of creating a new account and starting all over again.

Exactly. I used to comment on there all the time, and I actually got some people thinking. Of course I had to argue with idiots all the time too, but that happens here as well. Then one day out of the blue, the comments sections start disappearing from their articles. No point in going on there anymore if you can't clarify the facts to people in comments.

While I agree, the poverty line here in the US is slightly higher than many countries. I've seen things in Egypt, Mexico, India, Africa etc. that are on a whole other scale.

This is what I was thinking. Perhaps the cycles will shift or change entirely, given our new ability to transfer knowledge faster. Why do the cycles always have to be the same, or happen at all, regardless of innovation
