It's the same shit happening all over. Take AHCC, or active hexose correlated compound. People think that is an actual specific compound from shiitake you can test for. They ask us how much AHCC is in our product. AHCC is just a trademarked name the company made up for their shiitake. However, all the scientific research quotes AHCC like it is some universal compound, like erinacine A. Imagine if instead of standardizing to erinacine A, and calling our product Erinamax, we created the term erinaside. Then we wrote scientific papers as if erinaside from lion's mane mycelium had all the effects. It would be lunacy!
Then take the Tribulus extract Testofen. They came up with the word fenuside, and say theirs is standardized to it. Look at this shit.

Fenuside is not a real thing, but they say it is standardized to 50% of it. Then they trademarked it, so nobody else can even say theirs is standardized to it... These people came to our facility, and sat down with us in our conference room to try and pitch us on selling their ingredients. I called them out on this made up word standardization bullshit.
