We did many years back when we were testing out extracts to release. Our extract is more potent and cheaper. I showed some of the chromatograms on the above comment I just made.
For reference, those numbers come out to 13.2% crocins and 3.4% safranals for the saffron extract we put into our capsules. SAFFR’ACTIV is 3% crocins and 2% safranal. I'd have to get a more recent batch of the raw material from them to test again to get the full numbers, but they were right on the line when we tested them years ago. We tested a lot of saffrons in the development of ours.
