As you can probably tell, I am jaded by this industry. I am just tired of brands coming in and making up shit to trick consumers to make their products or them seem better than they are. It's like clockwork. We bring out novel products and set new standardizations, and then people see the sales volume on Amazon and the hype, and come in to sell a product claiming to be the same thing as us, or even say higher than us. Everyone is just getting into this industry to make money off consumers. Nobody is getting in to do anything novel, or to push the science or the industry forward like we are. Nobody is in it to honestly educate consumers on the science and standardizations. It's always a marketing exercise into trying to make your products sound better than other people's. That's fine when your products actually ARE better. However, 99% of the time it's just marketing BS. I spend tens of millions of dollars, and 12 years of my life, building out a facility and lab that is unmatched in this industry. We put more science and effort into our products than anyone else, by far. However, then we get compared to products from brands that literally have no facility, been around a little over a year, show no lab testing, have nothing of substance behind them, are using false and misleading marketing, and are STILL less potent and more expensive than us. You can see why my frustration might come through in comments.

You can see crocin at 7.231 minutes, along with the three other similarly structured carotenoids. The methods to quantify crocins and safranals are different runs, because the structures of each grouping are so different from each other. Our scientific work with saffron is surrounding separating, concentrating, then structurally elucidating these compounds using our two chromatography prep systems.

This machine uses supercritical CO2 with co-solvents to separate compounds from each other in a sample, run it through both a UV detector and mass spec, then isolate them into each of those glass containers. These can then be concentrated to make standards of these unique bioactives. Then we can do further structural analysis of the compounds on NMR. Once we have fully structurally elucidated them, we can then take them over to our new cell culture lab, where we have human cells growing that can be exposed to these compounds. Right not we have human epithelial cells cultured that we are testing Lion's Mane and Tongkat Ali on. This is allowing us to show exactly how these compounds are acting in various human cells. With our badass Sartorius Incucyte SX5 system, we will eventually be able to culture human brain cells, and show videos of both neuronal growth and neuronal activity. This is going to allow us to publish some really ground-breaking scientific papers on things.

So as you can see, comparing us or one of our products almost any other supplement company, much less a brand new one with no facility, testing, or real understanding of what they are talking about, is crazy. The fact that we can bring out the most potent products, for as cheap as we sell them for, and still be able to fund facilities and scientific operations like this, is unheard of in this industry. These other brands that just pop up to make money, contract everything out to contract manufacturers, do no science or chemistry, show no lab testing reports, charge more than we do, and have zero overhead like us just means they are absolutely screwing everyone. Most do it by paying influencers and affiliates to push their product. They can do that, because they have way more margins to hand out to give those people to get the sale. It just perpetuates everything that is wrong about this industry.
