So I ordered a Pomella 15g powder that is unopened but has best by date 01/2025. I still want to use it tho.

I remember seeing u/MisterYouAreSoDumb post about how powders have a longer shelf life than what’s mentioned (i.e. the standard 2 years after mfg). Just wondering if it’s the same case here.

Lot: POMS1011323

I don't think there's a single thing that y'all sell that would KEEL you if it were expired and you took it.

I've been taking some Rhodiola (3%, Green label, I forgot, Rosavins?) that HAS to be at least 2-3 years old, that I've had in the door of my fridge all this time.

It still works and no nausea or vomiting.

I even have some Availom DHA powder in the same door which is about as old and it did not harm me.

ROCKEFELLER PETRODRUGS on the other hand..

No, nothing would be dangerous when expired. It just wouldn't work as well. Also, people forget that most shelf life testing is looking for the point at which the potency drops by 10%. That doesn't mean it goes from working perfectly to not working at all. That's still 90% of the expected effects. I think a lot of people think of expiration of supplements like foods, when it is a totally different thing.

Possible Fake?

Always make sure it says "sold by Nootropics Depot" when buying from us on Amazon. We have brand protection on there, which is supposed to prevent hijacking of our listings. However, they seem to have found a way around

Whoever left the review calling Rhodiola Crenulata "nap in a bottle"...

See, this is why I try to explain that we are all so different. For the average person, the crenulata is stimulating. However, some people have paradoxical reactions to things.

So which products are getting the axe?

Replying to anexanhume · Rhodiola Rosea is now endangered, so unless ND changes to a synthesized version like NNB is doing, it may go away.

We are actually working with a company that is cell culturing plants in vats, and Rhodiola is one of them. We think that is the future, if they can bring costs down.

Salidrosol Solution vs. Crenulata Powder: Is there a functional difference between the two?

Plant extracts always have more in them than just the main standardized actives. Crenulata is a pretty cool one that gets overshadowed by the rosea species. I think sometimes it gets a bad name because at lot of dishones
