Would be awesome to have a high dose pure salidroside product (20mg-30mg). Ive only seen this ingredient used in a few blends, but never solo.

LOL, NutriScience is jumping on that bandwagon now? We were the first to get pure salidroside back in the Ceretropic days 12 years ago. We had a supplier custom make it for us, and then they started offering it to other people. It was $10,000 per kilogram at the time, so the price was crazy. However, they have been able to bring it down since then. It is in our Salidrosol (called Super Rhodiola at the time).

We still source pure salidroside from that supplier for our Salidrosol. That's a 50/50 mix of salidroside and tyrosol. Salidroside is just the glycoside of tyrosol, and salidroside will metabolize to tyrosol in the body. You are correct in saying that not all of it metabolizes into tyrosol, though. The metabolism is a bit more complex, and there are direct effects of salidroside in the body. That's why we didn't just release a tyrosol product. Salidroside does have its own effects. However, I am not sure there is any reason to offer it standalone separate from tyrosol. We certainly won't sell Salidropure, as that's just a marked up trademarked ingredient. We'd just take our pure salidroside that we have had for 12 years and use that.

Possible Fake?

Always make sure it says "sold by Nootropics Depot" when buying from us on Amazon. We have brand protection on there, which is supposed to prevent hijacking of our listings. However, they seem to have found a way around

Whoever left the review calling Rhodiola Crenulata "nap in a bottle"...

See, this is why I try to explain that we are all so different. For the average person, the crenulata is stimulating. However, some people have paradoxical reactions to things.

So which products are getting the axe?

Replying to anexanhume · Rhodiola Rosea is now endangered, so unless ND changes to a synthesized version like NNB is doing, it may go away.

We are actually working with a company that is cell culturing plants in vats, and Rhodiola is one of them. We think that is the future, if they can bring costs down.

Salidrosol Solution vs. Crenulata Powder: Is there a functional difference between the two?

Plant extracts always have more in them than just the main standardized actives. Crenulata is a pretty cool one that gets overshadowed by the rosea species. I think sometimes it gets a bad name because at lot of dishones

Consumerlab report on Chocamine

Replying to Mojowhale · thank you for your answer! appreciated

No problem! Why ConsumerLab decided to test our product for something it is not even standardized to, then not test everyone else for the stuff we are standardized to, is beyond me. Why not test everyone for theobromine
