Considering the lack of knowledge about it's about it's MOA and all the other anti-oxidants/anti-inflammatories y'all carry, what made you pick up ReDaxin? You've tended to avoid stocking novel things for the sake of it that haven't had interesting effects in the past so I'm def interested.

I met these guys a while back, and they were really excited about this new product they were developing. It's a really cool story. Some dude in Kentucky walking out in a sorghum field noticed a deep red plant amongst the sea of green leaves. It was a chance genetic mutation that naturally happened to make this plant create the red color. They were curious, and started to investigate. That's when they found it was novel 3-deoxyanthocyanins causing the colors. They then started a program to selectively breed more of the mutant red sorghum, and that's what led to the development of Redaxin. I find these happenstance situations very intriguing. One single plant in one single sorghum field mutated, and that mutation led to it creating these really novel anthocyanins. A person with the forethought to recognize the potential just happened to see it, and that led us down a path that wouldn't have existed otherwise. If that mutation never happened, or that person never walked by that plant to notice the color, we wouldn't even know it was possible to create high levels of these rare anthocyanins in sorghum. Imagine all the little genetic mutations that happen in plants all over the world that go unnoticed. What cool molecules could we find if we just looked for them? I think that's a fun situation, and I wanted to get their product out to more people to really see how they react.

It is also because C3G has been more popular than we anticipated, and caused benefits I was not expecting. Perhaps we will find the same thing with these 3-dexoxyanthocyanins. We have also been thinking of bringing out a luteolin product for a while. Redaxin is high in luteolinidin, so we figured this was a cooler and potentially more effective way to do it. Then we found a study showing it is a CD38 inhibitor.

Luteolinidin Protects the Postischemic Heart through CD38 Inhibition with Preservation of NAD\(P\)\(H\)

This means it will go great with other NAD+ supplement for longevity. We also sell apigenin, and Redaxin is high in apigeninidin. This has some cool effects, too.

Redaxin is the first commercial source of 3-deoxyanthocyanidins on the market, so I am super excited to see how people react to it!

Consumerlab report on Chocamine

Replying to lewanay · Consumerlab is different from consumer report but they both tested chocolate products to my understanding from this article. I had the same reaction, wanted to buy from ND because

The flavanols in cocoa are mainly (-)–epicatechin, (+)–catechin, EGCG, and procyanidins B1 and B2. Then there are flavonols like luteolin, orientin, isoorientin, apigenin, vitexin, ixovitexin, naringenin, prunin, hesperi

Polygala Tenuifolia Update After Three and a Half Weeks

Replying to rmcfar11 · Fyi, it's unlikely it's Nyles that's ignoring you. I had emailed them a while back about Luteolin and ETA. They responded and said both that and Apigenin are getting more difficult

Nyles7 has never done 3rd party testing, and just gives people the supplier COAs. It's been talked about a few times on here. Another moderator also asked him for COAs, and all he eventually gave were supplier COAs. He s

Lab Testing Results: Dried Parsley

DRIED PARSLEY = superior to any Apigenin supplement. Rebut me if you can.

Replying to AnabolicGreyhound · For context, dried parsley contains 45mg Apigenin per gram and has superior bioavailability. I do love ND products but question the efficacy of taking supplementary Apigenin. Wo

LOL, start shoving grams of parsley in your mouth then. You could say this about any plant extract. "Why don't I just shove lots of the regular plant in my mouth?!?" Sure, go ahead! I am sure Chef's Larder standardizes t

Apigenin highly unstable!?

Apigenin is not unstable. No idea WTF Examine is talking about. There's incorrect information all over the internet. Even in research studies we have found just blatantly false info. Now that I have my own lab, I can act

Apigenin cleared amyloid plaque in a mouse study

Replying to Careful-Cobbler-8359 · Why care about amyloid plaques following the recent retraction/controversy in AD research?

Amyloid plaques are still correlated with disease progression. It's just not the smoking gun cause it was made out to be. People with Alzheimer's clearly have amyloid plaques building up. That's not at question. Whether
