I absolutely think many of the bodybuilding products on the market are putting in undisclosed ingredients to pump the effects up. In fact, many people on the bodybuilding forums actually WANT THAT. They search out products that people report might have undisclosed prohormones or other things in them. It's crazy to me, but many in that community value gains/effects above all else, and don't care about the risks associated.
They used to. I don't think so anymore. I used to take a creatine supplement in 2009 that made me hot and incredibly easy to burn fat, now it's just "meh". In 2009 I would lift daily, had no clue what I was doing, take this creatine capsule, and lost 45 lb in 4 months and didn't even change my diet. And I had boundless energy all day long! This stuff was amazing...and marketed as just creatine with some novel delivery of it. I think it definetely had stims in it.
