Does anyone know if this increases peripheral nerve growth as well?
I have a generic disease that impacts peripheral nerves. Anything that would accelerate growth would limit the disability.

Just so you are aware, these specific compounds in this paper are not meaningfully present in the lion's mane you can get. I spoke to my guys in the lab. Both these compounds are in VERY small amounts in the fruiting bodies. NDPIH is present in roughly 0.0001%- 0.001% of the mass. We have yet to concentrate enough of it to make a standard. Hericene A is slightly higher, at 0.003% - 0.01%. That we have some standard made, but we are talking trace levels here. These compounds are not active in normal doses of lion's mane on the market. What you want to be looking for is erinacine-A. This is a neurogenic compound in the mycelium of lion's mane. That's not in most lion's mane, either. However, we did release a product with it in there now called Erinamax. Some customers with nerve issues have been reporting very promising results so far, and it has only been out a month. Some of them are combining it with tiger milk mushroom, which is also neurogenic. The combo is really good. I would be very curious to see how you react!
