Why did Nootropics Depot add Maltodextrin to Vitamin D?

I happened to be poking around products today and noticed that it now lists Maltodextrin as an additive. Maltodextrin heavily triggers my crohns disease and I find it to be a nasty additive. I recently got Vitamin D and thankfully it appears to not have maltodextrin in it. The old formula seemed to be working just fine, why would they add it in now? I'm just so thankful i didn't accidentally start taking one with maltodextrin in it, it would've been an absolute nightmare trying to track down what is suddenly triggering my crohns. Looks like I can no longer purchase vit d from ND :( Hass maltodextrin been added to anything else now?

Thanks for the reply and I appreciate the offer but to be honest it's just not worth the risk of potentially triggering my crohns to see if i can take it as that can mean poor work performance, low energy, other knock on effects etc. For me, crohns flare ups are often from several things adding up, the small amount of maltodextrin itself may not trigger my crohns but when you add in several other smaller things that may be in my diet, such as ones i've not identified as triggering it or can't avoid as other smaller triggers are in other medications then the build up can be enough to wear me down.
I also recently realized that the Vitamin C in it may be making my vyvanse less effective so i'll just have to find a different source. Would be great if you came out with a non-vit c non maltodextrin version of it.
Is there anyway to sign up to be notified when things we've ordered in the past have had ingredients changed? I feel like that would be a great feature to have as i'm sure i'm not the only one that buys from you for quality and health reasons. Part of the issue of the change is not being aware of the change and having things slip in without knowing
PS. literally just received an ND shipment while I was typing this lol, got preg, cistanche, beta ecdy, and melatonin

I commented on your other comment, but maybe we can make a D3/K2 solution for people like you. Then you won't have to worry about excipients in the spray drying process. Would you use a D3/K2 solution?
