Hello, just wanted to ask, on examine.com it is claimed that lemon balm plant has 2.2-5.5% rosemaric acid. If that is so how does ND lemon balm have only 1%? Is it "watered down" or am I reading one of the two wrong?
From examine.com
* "Melissa officinalis (Labiatae) at 2.2-5.5%, although it can be higher if specific extracts are taken"

Examine is often very wrong on assay results of specific actives. We've tested a LOT of lemon balm over the years. Ain't no fresh plant getting anywhere close to 2% rosmarinic acid. It's the same rant I went on about parsley.

Data online said there was much more apigenin in parsley than there actually is. If you actually dig into the research papers that sites online cite, the numbers don't even claim what are being cited. Just assume everything you read online is wrong.
