Is the M1 cholinergic system different than the cholinergic system that seems to make some of us depressed, or is it distinct?

Since the link between choline and depressive symptoms is not fully understood, that's hard to say. I will say that I get depressed from too much choline, but I have been using Cognance for the past year without issue. More research needs to be done before we can really get a grasp on the link between the cholinergic system and mood dysfunction, but my anecdotal experience has shown that Cognance doesn't have that side effect like medium/high doses of alpha-GPC can.
