Using Cognizin as both the Choline and Uridine Source in OmegaTAU

Hello,
I am aware of OmegaTAU, your take on the Mr.Happy stack. I prefer to take a bit more AvailOM, so I've been buying the products separately for the most part (getting E from CoQsol, and Sesamin from Optim-ALA). I recently recalled that Cognizin, or CDP-Choline, is broken down into both choline, and cytidine (ultimately uridine). Could you not just get rid of the standalone uridine supp and alpha-GPC and switch in CDP-Choline for this stack?

Was this considered by the ND team for OmegaTAU but discounted because of the higher bioavailability of TAU, and greater brain delivery of choline from Alpha-GPC?

You could, but you would lose the cellular membrane support from the Alpha-GPC. TAU also works better than the increase in cytidine from the citicoline. I find that lower doses of Alpha-GPC work better with TAU than a single Cognizin dose. I find that most people just massively overdose Alpha-GPC.

Replying to Warren_sl · I’m guessing 100mg of Alpha GPC plus 25mg of TAU would more than replace 250mg of Cognizin? I’m going to replace Accelon and Cognizin in my stack with this product and just wanted

Yes, for me personally it would. Some people need higher doses of choline, but I find lower ones work better for me.

CDP-Choline and upregulating D2 dopamine receptors

Replying to Translation333 · u/MisterYouAreSoDumb can you help here with the answer

/u/NootropicsDepotGuru's response above is exactly what I would say. It's the uridine content of CDP-choline that leads to the D2 up-regulation. Alpha-GPC and choline L-bitartrate don't have any uridine, so they would no

Tried adderall yesterday, was my experienced normal? Hoping to find a good alternative.

Replying to [deleted] · You have nothing to feel guilty about. Drug usage isn't inherently morally wrong. Adderall can be used in moderation with little negative effect, or so I've read. NMDA antagonists

Has anyone tried Excelerol? I'm interested in trying it because it is apparently one of the best nootropics out there, but I'm a bit suspicious because I've never heard anyone talk about it on this subreddit.

Anything to combat anti-histamine hangovers?

Yeah, it is acetylcholine related. I would say alpha-GPC or Cognizin paired with something that positively modulated ACh. H1 receptors are at play, too. However, that is more difficult to target. [Next-Day Residual Sed
