CDP-Choline and upregulating D2 dopamine receptors

I've read that CDP-Choline upregulates D2 dopamine receptor, so does that mean that only CDP-Choline(Cognizin) upregulates D2 receptor or does Alpha-GPC or any choline source for that matter do the same thing? Sorry if the question seems silly

/u/NootropicsDepotGuru's response above is exactly what I would say. It's the uridine content of CDP-choline that leads to the D2 up-regulation. Alpha-GPC and choline L-bitartrate don't have any uridine, so they would not have that effect. However, you can take uridine monophosphate or triacetyluridine alongside alpha-GPC for the best of both worlds.
