Black Seed Oil PAHS concern?

Original post in this thread

birthdaysuit111 · 11 points

Have black seed from nootropics depotbut also have Blessed Seed oil and I recieved an email by them that my lot is high in PAHs and should be returned. Taking 3 teaspoons a day apparently is over the limit. What is dangerous about PAHS? Seems they are linked to stomach, and bladder cancer.

What they were answering

Hahaha, I 100% agree with you there. I didn't mean on the testing for other people side I meant more so testing to find different compounds in marijuana that could be re added into vape pens and things like that to recreate the effects better. A lot of people are just sticking to the basic 25 terpenes or so and adding a few flavor compounds in. While there are so many other components that can have an effect. It would be really easy to stock up a lab with all the components needed to recreate some strains with a much more accurate profile than most any company is doing out there. Scaling up is the hard part. Pipe dream.

I also plan to eventually build a vape cart that has the vapor of the thc/cbd/nicotine pass through the flavor. Reducing the risk of harmful chemicals being introduced into the lungs possibly causing future issues. We shouldn't be heating flavor chemicals and inhaling them.

Sorry for my rant. I'm a dreamer

Ohh yeah, that is interesting! We have developed our own comprehensive cannabinoid methods for our NIST proficiency program submission, so we can already see a lot of them. I think maybe it was 18 cannabinoids in our method? I will have to look it up. Volatile terpenes are another area that is super interesting. There's a lot of money in cannabis right now! I just lost a good employee because she got a really good job offer from a cannabis company that I couldn't match. There's just too much money in that industry to compete with sometimes.

Fasoracetam and GABA-B receptors recovery

I know a lot of people say fasoracetam is a GABAb antagonist, but that's actually not true. It's actions are much more complex than that. Essentially Fasoracetam modulates the metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs). T

Cognance: waste of money

Replying to sxaxrxmxs · I think OP may have an overlooked small point that there seems to be a greater variability in certain nootropics than other substances. I'm curious if your lab director would feel

Need help about ACE2 pathway, nicotine role, potential nootropic to upregulate the expression of it.

ACE2 is an enzyme (protein) on the surface of certain cells, not a peptide. Certain peptides can bind to ACE2, but ACE2 itself is not a peptide. Proteins are just big strings of peptides, but a peptide is not a protein j

NMN Powder

Replying to Dihexa_Throwaway · Do you think that sublingual ROA for powder would be more effective than oral? If so, how would it compare to the enteric coated capsule?

That depends on the specific compound and dose. For NMN, absolutely not. The dose is too high, and the solubilities and chemical kinetics don't lend themselves to efficient sublingual absorption. The people in this indus
