Original post in this thread

Have black seed from nootropics depotbut also have Blessed Seed oil and I recieved an email by them that my lot is high in PAHs and should be returned. Taking 3 teaspoons a day apparently is over the limit. What is dangerous about PAHS? Seems they are linked to stomach, and bladder cancer.
What they were answering

Dear customer,
We have been producing black seed oil since 2002 and have researched to bring you the highest quality oils in the world. In our constant research to continue in bringing to you the highest quality we made analysis of Pahs in our oils. Pahs are often present in many foods, and there is a certain level that is deemed unacceptable. Research has shown that Pahs have resulted in our products when the seed is dried.
Our analysis has shown some of our oils have gone over this boundary, and consequently we request for you to check which batch of oil you have, so we can withdraw the product you purchased from our company.
There is no great cause for concern, as research has shown that pahs are only dangerous when ingested in large quantities. The maximum dose for our oils which should not be exceeded is 3 teaspoons daily.
#I took 5 a day.
To maintain the consistency of supplying the highest quality oils, we have deemed it appropriate to recall the products which have gone over these limits.
Once you approve the recall, we'll send you a free shipping label for the return. Upon the return of the item(s) you will be granted a full refund.
We pray for everyone's good health as always and apologise for any inconvenience this occurs.
Please let us know if you have the product with the following features and whether you can initiate a recall.

Interesting. No info on what the levels actually were or how they tested it. I'll check what lot numbers our Blessed Seed samples were, and how best to test for it. I think we could test for those on our residual solvent testing using our headspace GC-FID. If so, we could probably run it. I wonder how they got in there? Shitty extraction perhaps? I'd need more info on which PAHs they are talking about.
