No external investors. It's self-funded just by me. The way we do things is not conducive to maximizing profits. I also don't want investors telling me what we can and can't do. Sometimes I have to make hard decisions that lose us money, but I do them because I feel they are the moral decision to make. That goes against most modern day VC-backed thought. I am trying to keep us completely independent for as long as I can. It's been a challenge recently, though. There has been more consolidation in the supplement industry in the past 2 years than ever before. Large corporations like Nestle are buying up brands left and right. They are using their money to make it harder for the small players in the industry to succeed.
