ND's mushroom sourcing

Original post in this thread

Does anyone know where Nootropics Depot gets their mushrooms for their extracts, I am currently working on a marketing project and since they do not have a lot of outward distribution channel variation(only through their website) my professor was wondering if i can elaborate on their inbound distribution(honestly not sure if im using this terminology right marketing is just one of those required classes so i am not too good at it) and my paper is specifically centered around their lions mane extract

Edit: should’ve clarified more wondering if they grow it in house or get it from an outside source I don’t think my prof is expecting me to find out who they buy from

Just wondering did you experiment growing LM using Ashwagandha root as a substrate. LM fruiting body extract can have Ashwagandhas adaptogen benefits on top of LMs?

Interesting idea, but lion's mane likes specific types of wood as a substrate. Not saying it wouldn't be possible, but we would have to do some testing to see if it would even be possible. Why wouldn't you just take lion's mane with ashwagandha separately, though? I doubt the lion's mane would bioconvert the withanolides into something useful.

I have already reached out to our lawyers on this. I am sick of Consumer Lab ranking products using shoddy chemistry! Consumer Lab is using methods to quantify withanolides that only look at a small portion of them in th

What mood boosters ACTUALLY work out there?

It's going to depend on the person. What works best for one person might do nothing for you, or have side effects. We like to talk in generalities, but people's brain chemistries vary a lot more than most realize. So fin

Lions mane 8:1 extract on amazon has an F on fakespot. Why?

Because Fakespot is garbage. I give Fakespot an F! Seriously, Fakespot is the dumbest most inaccurate site out there. Why anybody uses it is beyond me. It's like the woo science of ratings sites. Might as well just ask a
