I came across this article today when I was researching independent and trusted supplement companies and thought I'd share this since some of you probably use these brands. Besides the NOW brand and NootropicsDepot, I really don't know of any legitimate independent supplement companies and once these brands get too big we all know the corner cutting that starts happening, especially when they get bought out by a big corporation.

Apologies, this is really off-topic but I've been meaning to ask someone about that for ages. What is a Mayo Clinic and why are they so relevant? I'm not from the US but I'm a reforming hypochondriac and their articles always managed to answer any questions I had. I hope you don't mind me asking, cheers!

Mayo Clinic is a world renowned nonprofit medical group here in the US that is generally on the cutting edge of medical science. They are very research and education centric. Not only do they participate in a lot of research advancing medical science, but they also educate physicians on the latest procedures and technologies. They also have a network of hospitals where patients with hard to treat or terminal diseases go to get cutting edge care. Their philosophy is to try and take the money aspect out of quality care, and give patients more one-on-one attention. Their compensation structure is different than many hospitals, where the number of patients and revenue per patient is not factored into physician's salary. This is why they are held in such high regard.
