I came across this article today when I was researching independent and trusted supplement companies and thought I'd share this since some of you probably use these brands. Besides the NOW brand and NootropicsDepot, I really don't know of any legitimate independent supplement companies and once these brands get too big we all know the corner cutting that starts happening, especially when they get bought out by a big corporation.

Guess I'll write PE, Solgar and Swanson off the trusted brand list. As far as I know, NOW has been losing quality? May be mistaken, or confused with Doctors Best.
I'm narrowed down to Thorne, Jarrow and ND at this point.

Thorne is backed by a couple multi-billion dollar companies now as well. Not that you should not trust them because of that, but they are also now owned by massive corporations. They bought out the stake in Thorne that used to be owned by two hedge funds.
