Have you tried PPAP? AFAIK we don't really know how catecholamine enhancers work, but I suspect that VMAT2 might play a role in it.
They only increase the amount of released catecholamines when they're meant to be released, so presumably that's when DA comes in and agonizes TAAR1. The role of VMAT2 inhibition in AMPH's effects is preventing monoamines from being stored in the neuron, so that's what makes me think that this is a plausible mechanism behind catecholaminergic activity enhancers.

I think I may have tried PPAP once a long time ago. I would have to try it again to really give a proper opinion on it.
TAAR1 and sigma receptors are also part of the equation, too.
