Milk thistle anger

I took it for a week one pill daily of ND milk thistle and also take concerta. Stopped concerta few days in to see with anger but it was still there albeit with varying degrees.
I also have lousy phase 1&2 detox genes confirmed by 23andme. This is what actually prompted me to start it .

Hmm, the methylphenidate throws a variable into the equation. I bet that is playing a role. I get very angry/wound up on DRIs like methylphenidate. My brain chemistry respond much better to releasers like amphetamine than reuptake inhibitors for some reason. I have a feeling it is due to VMAT2, which affects dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine, epinephrine, and histamine. Both methylphenidate and amphetamine modulate VMAT2, but in different ways. Perhaps milk thistle is modulating it, too. In fact, that might be one of the mechanisms behind its neuroprotective effects.

I am deep into speculation territory here, but my brain absolutely reacts much differently to DRIs than DA releasers. I have a feeling VMAT2 expression/inhibition/induction is playing a role in that.
