Has usps been having trouble scanning recently?

I ordered on saturday priority mail and Tempe, AZ shipment was recieved, acceptance pending. Fast foward to Wednesday and it still says the same thing. I dont mind if the shipment is just late but im wondering if usps usually has trouble scanning packages, especially during the holidays.

Perfect! Im hoping, with the election now over, that USPS may get a little better but they're dismally slow atm. Ive been waiting 15 days for a pkg coming from florida from a company who only uses USPS

I was hoping that, too. However, did you know that the president can't fire the postmaster? Only the Postal Service Board of Governors can, and they are in there till at least 2022. Technically three of them could be replaced in 2022 with a Senate majority, but that is unlikely. We are stuck with the USPS like this for a while.
