Has usps been having trouble scanning recently?

I ordered on saturday priority mail and Tempe, AZ shipment was recieved, acceptance pending. Fast foward to Wednesday and it still says the same thing. I dont mind if the shipment is just late but im wondering if usps usually has trouble scanning packages, especially during the holidays.

Thank you, I didnt know which one to choose so it was like a cointoss for me. Ill choose fedex from now on though

Would putting "Having Some Delays" next to the USPS option help people to possibly choose FedEx more? I am just not sure the best way to convey to new customers which option they should go with. Our FedEx is insanely fast. We signed a contract with them just before the pandemic started that mandated quick delivery times, so they are super fast. Many customers in states around us are getting them the next day. So our FedEx option is like night and day better than USPS at the moment.
