Has usps been having trouble scanning recently?

I ordered on saturday priority mail and Tempe, AZ shipment was recieved, acceptance pending. Fast foward to Wednesday and it still says the same thing. I dont mind if the shipment is just late but im wondering if usps usually has trouble scanning packages, especially during the holidays.

That's an understatement. USPS has gotten so bad, we completely dropped them for 90% of our packages. This is why we now have FedEx as our default option, and all our free shipping goes out FedEx. We still have USPS as an option on the site for those that want it, but strongly suggest sticking with FedEx for the time being. I am thinking of putting "Having Some Delays" next to the USPS shipping options, too. Normally I would just remove the USPS options from the site. However, some customers prefer having packages put into their mailbox, rather than left at their door.
