Someone needs to form an Organization/Association that unites Nootropic (as well as Peptide) Aficionados- and functions as a Political Action Group in case our rights are threatened.

I won't bore you with the details, but my adventure into the world of cognitive augmentation via nootropic substances has been life-changing. Same for peptides. I really, truly love these substances- and I think they offer a brighter hope for the human race to evolve and transcend beyond our current animalistic traits. Those really, sincerely, are my feelings- and they give me dreams of a better world.

But as more and more people begin to notice/use these awesome substances, we potentially will be open to more and more scrutiny by the Media and Public Officials. Noots/peptides aren't "mainstream" yet...and it makes me cringe to imagine that day, when I think about our sensationalist media and ban-happy Governments. Thankfully public attention is quickly diverted and most people have the attention span of a gnat...but sooner or later, reactionary hit pieces, the ignorant public and small-minded tyrants are a problem that we may face. Closed-minded people are easily manipulated by the talking heads on TV and charismatic political activists. They're quick to judge and even quicker to meddle in the rights and affairs of other humans. It's a collective control freak ideology paired wi…

Our system is fucked, and trying to fight it is a death sentence for most. We would need to completely revamp not only our medical/drug system, but our patent system as well. It's a very very very very hard battle. I can't stress that enough. I fought for years, and had long conversations with very good lawyers. I never came out of any of those legal meetings feeling better than when I went in. The risk and legal environment is much more precarious than anyone here realizes. The absolute ONLY way to survive in the system as it currently is would be to stay under the radar as long as you can. Security through obscurity is the name of the game in this case. Anyone that fights hard enough will be crushed. There is just too much money and power on the other side. The moment you get any traction, and pose any threat to the entrenched interests, you will be steamrolled. Trust me, I wanted to fight too. When I started Ceretropic I was naive. I thought I could fight and change things. I thought that being a good person and fighting for something I believed in was enough to protect me, but I was a fucking idiot. That's not how the world works. I had to learn that the hard way, and I was more lucky than some others. I realized that the only way to affect positive change is to find the areas that you can make a difference, and pivot there... so that's what I did. I can make a real difference by improving the lab testing and quality control side of the supplement industry. It's a fight that I can have a chance of winning. It's a mission that I can feel good about, while not risking my mental health, freedom, or sanity. Fighting to change the system for peptides and novel nootropics is not. Knowing when you are fighting a losing battle is the only way one can survive.

That's not to say that some day it won't be possible. However, that day is not today.

Dipeptide analogs of piracetam, noopept, sulpiride,... exhibiting far superior potency and specificity to their putative mechanisms.

They are not talking about analogs of noopept. Noopept IS the analog they are discussing. The other compounds are not analogs of piracetam, either. They took inspiration from some of the functional groups, but they are V

Our card processor randomly decided to stop processing payments. At first they told us that it was the peptides, and that if we took them down, they would lift the hold. After we complied, they decided to then tell us to

Here's the thing, I want to avoid giving my own anecdotes for a bit, to prevent confirmation bias. I don't want people seeing how I react, then convincing themselves they react the same way. I want people to try it thems
