In conclusion, our study demonstrates that at least some part of the anti-inflammatory activity of blackberry extract is due to the suppression of NO production by cyanidin-3-O-glucoside, which is the main anthocyanin present in the extract.
I am hoping this cyanin is present in your extract? paging /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb and /u/Pretty-Chill

Finally something that doesn't increase NOS... I hope?!

We quantitate using the cyanidin 3-rutinoside standard, but there are 3 anthocyanins in tart cherry: cyanidin 3-glucosylrutinoside, cyanidin 3-rutinoside, and cyanidin 3-glucoside. Our extract has all three, with cyanidin 3-rutinoside being the strongest peak. I could have our lab buy the Sigma standard for cyanidin 3-glucoside to give you an exact number, but right now we standardize to the 3 of them combined being NLT 10%. Just based on peak area, what we think is the cyanidin 3-glucoside peak is about 2% concentration. The cyanidin 3-rutinoside is around 8%. Again, we need the standard to say for sure, though. The cyanidin 3-glucoside standard is $822 for 15mg, but whatever. LOL.
