I take 500mg daily. I’m wondering if there are people who take more, or tried more, and what difference it made for them.

What they were answering

There are no human clinical studies on mycelium.

There are in fact two clinical studies using pure mycelium already. This is the latest one

Ohh shit, how did I miss that one?!? Just published in June! We know those researchers, too! We are working with them on shit! I just sent it to my team, and apparently they knew about it. They sent me that study. I just must have missed it, or didn't register it when they sent it to me. I was moving houses at the time, and must have just totally spaced on it. Dumb of me.

So that study actually uses our lion's mane researcher's methods for enriching erinacine-A! LOL. They used his PhD thesis paper to isolate, concentrate, and make an erinacine-A reference standard. It's what we have done to create our standard as well. The key takeaway from that is that is NOT pure mycelium. That's an erinacine-A enriched extract. You have to do very special techniques to get that much erinacine-A. You will get nowhere near that amount with normal cultured lion's mane mycelium.

The funny thing about this is apparently we have a call with our lion's mane researcher at noon about all this... The extract I mentioned personally taking is pretty close to the one they used in that study, since they used our researcher's work to make it.

This is part of the wholesale price list for "Nammex", the supplier of mushroom powders that many companies repackage/encapsulate and sell for a huge profit margin

Replying to eclecticlove1 · So where do you get the powder for the 8:1 dual phase extract?

We have our own suppliers, just like we do for all our ND branded products. They make it to our specifications. Then we test them in our lab for ID, content, beta-glucans, heavy metals, and now residual solvent residues.

Why the lion's mane you're buying is probably bunk.

First off, our Lion's Mane is not a traditional water extract. The water is used to break down the chitin in the cell walls, but the entire mushroom material is kept in. So you don't lose anything that you would with a f

We are absolutely NOT done with new products. We are in the thick of development for a bunch of them. Some of them are just taking longer than expected to get perfect, so we have had a lull in releases. That's just becau
