A few Tongkat Ali questions
Original post in this thread

1. How often should you dose it? (how long do effects last)
2. Any need for cycling or is it good for daily use?
3. Any side effects? It may have been the thing that made me very nauseous this morning
4. Good to take at night or will it disrupt sleep?
5. Does it have acute effects or does it take time (days, weeks, etc), if so, how long?
6. Are there any studies about effects in women? Is it safe/useful for women?
7. What's everyone's preferred dose and what effects do you see?
Many thanks to ND for offering this awesome supplement. My experience has been very positive so far but I'll hold off on too many early judgements. Thanks for any insights!

I threw up from two capsules of it it + a couple other supplements on an empty stomach (I also take NMN, and I think a cap of egcg from before I got your tablets). I'm not exactly super shocked, though. That's a big dose of unpleasantness for a poor stomach! Seems pretty clear.
Now I just wait to take it until I have a bit of something else.

The EGCG won't be an issue, since it is enteric coated. It won't dissolve till it is out of your stomach anyway. I have had some people report NMN making them hungry. So perhaps that is affecting ghrelin in some way, and the tongkat bitterness is affecting some people more strongly. So you get a hunger pang from the NMN, and then the horrible taste from the tongkat, and that manifests as nausea?
I must have an iron stomach or something, because I can take anything and not have any issues. Even 400mg of the 10% tongkat powder mixed with kratom and other things in straight up water that I chug. I am perfectly fine. I don't think I have thrown up in years. I think the last time I did was after I partied all night in Vegas drinking Maker's Mark, then had to check out of our room by 11am, even though I only got back to the room at 7am. I threw up in the bathroom at the Cosmopolitan right next to Secret Pizza. I felt like death. I was probably borderline alcohol poisoned, though. I have never thrown up from a supplement.
