A few Tongkat Ali questions

Original post in this thread

1. How often should you dose it? (how long do effects last)
2. Any need for cycling or is it good for daily use?
3. Any side effects? It may have been the thing that made me very nauseous this morning
4. Good to take at night or will it disrupt sleep?
5. Does it have acute effects or does it take time (days, weeks, etc), if so, how long?
6. Are there any studies about effects in women? Is it safe/useful for women?
7. What's everyone's preferred dose and what effects do you see?

Many thanks to ND for offering this awesome supplement. My experience has been very positive so far but I'll hold off on too many early judgements. Thanks for any insights!

First time I took it on an empty stomach with NMN and I puked my guts out violently within 10-15 minutes.

Also made a post about this here but for some reason it wasn’t posted. Hopefully not because of gate keeping or anything.

So it could be a blood sugar thing. Perhaps taking tongkat ali on an empty stomach is lowering blood sugar too much for some people, which is causing nausea. It would explain why eating beforehand prevents it. Tongkat does have a blood sugar regulation mechanism, and perhaps some people are more sensitive to it. I fast all the time, my body is used to regulating blood sugar pretty well.

u/MisterYouAreSoDumb which product(s) are you most proud of?

Hmm, I am proud of a lot of them. I would say tongkat ali or NMN for effects and how much I personally like them. I would say Shoden for the scientific work we put in to it. I am honestly still very proud of Immune Defen

What does /u MisterYouAreSoDumb take?

I am always trying new things that we are working on. So at any one point in time my stack will be different. However, I do have some staples in my base stack that stay there pretty consistently. * CoQSol-CF * Reacta-C

MisterYouAreSoDumb, what is your current stack and why?

My base stack stays pretty consistent, but I have modified some things. * Reacta-C * Vitamin D3/K2 (not released yet) * CoQSol-CF * Our Yeast Extract * Microzinc * Berberine/Silymarin * Our EGCG tablets * Our (-)-epicat

Best for work, focus, and energy

I would say CoQSol-CF, NMN, DynaMAX, PanaMAX, and tongkat ali. For someone that struggles with low energy, but also anxiousness, that's a good stack to hit on a balanced effect. The CoQSol-CF and NMN give a nice natural

Tongkat Ali Nausea

It's really hard for me to help on this one, because I just don't get the same nausea. I take a 2% and 10% tongkat, along with berberine, silymarin, NMN, EGCG, CoQSol-CF, Microzinc, and yeast extract all at the same time

New releases, who this?

Replying to hagosantaclaus · Tagging on to this, and with all due respect, I have to ask the ever recurring and hopefully not yet annoying question, what is your current stack u/misteryouaresodumb?
