With green tea, do we still get some of the improved absorption if we cut an enteric coated pill in half? Is there a rule of thumb we can apply for other enteric coated stuff too? I think you mentioned NMN is coated because the component is unstable, so we probably don't want to cut that ever.

You will still get some, but not all of the benefits of the enteric coating. ~~EGCG is stable in gastric juices on an empty stomach, though. So as long as you don't eat food with it, you can cut it in half and be fine. NMN is a different story. Again, it's not like you will lose all of it. However, some would degrade in the stomach.~~
I misspoke. Both EGCG and NMN are unstable. I would advise against cutting the enteric coated tablets.
