Polygala Sublingual Tablets

First of all, I LOVE your Polygala extract. It’s precisely the Nootropic I’ve been looking for to give me the mental energy and focus to do my work for long periods of time. So hats off to you guys for this one.

What I’m wondering is if I could expect sublingual tablets/solution for the foreseeable future? It’s only that route of administration that gives me the right effect and I can’t exactly be weighing powders on my desk at work.

Secondly, side question, what in theory would Polygala do to the brain with chronic use (what kinds of up/down-regulations would occur for example)?

Great to hear! I have read the blog, it was a great read.

Not being very knowledgeable on the neuropharmacology though, I get a little uneasy when I see reuptake inhibition because it makes me think those neurotransmitters will be downregulated in the long term to bring the brain back to homeostasis. So I guess that’s an example of what I’m wondering about. Is that concern based on a faulty assumption?

Not necessarily a faulty assumption, but a misinterpretation of scale. If you were taking pure Yuanzhi-1 then I might be more concerned. However, polygala as a whole is not a super strong reuptake inhibitor. So there is little risk there. Polygala actually gets more effective over time, as it builds up in your system. So I would not worry about down-regulation.

It's going to depend on the person. What works best for one person might do nothing for you, or have side effects. We like to talk in generalities, but people's brain chemistries vary a lot more than most realize. So fin

How is polygala so amazing?

Replying to Majalisk · MYASD has mentioned there does seem to be some people who are essentially’super-responders’ to it, which is great for them

Yep, we have some customers that say polygala works better for them than anything else they have ever taken. Some of them have told me it has literally changed their lives. Then we have some people that are like "Eh, it'

Extended Release Polygala?

Yeah, we have thought about it. We just need to determine the best way to formulate that. We are also considering doing sublingual polygala tablets.

Is polygala a strong enough MAOI that it shouldn’t be combined with aniracetam?

No, it's not something you need to worry about. The main compound in polygala that has MAOI effects is called DISS (3,6'-disinapoyl sucrose). It has less than 0.5% bioavailability. This means it is likely not clinically
