Woah dude. That’s ... enlightening.
Have you ever considered a side company that is completely objective and measures the purity and transparency (adequate amounts, as advertised) of such companies and their products they are marketing, just to give a truly unbiased, lab-based source of objective purity testing, to salvage the health of this community?
Such would be easy, and in the case of people thinking you are only out to make nootropicsdepot look good, you can defend against that by being like a “progressive auto insurance” commercial, lending other competing company’s options by designating their purity, even if it is the same as yours.
This way you only defend what is true matter - for the good of the community, to avoid many noot sellers who market what is not pure by any means — while refraining from advertising anything but good ethical standards.
This would cascade into a practice of responsible products, eventually: you would actually bear the weight of fulfilling a huge hole of regulation in this market. No one could claim you are defaming them, as long as you show your precise methods, and even have other third party labs (Using proper testing, unlike many we have discussed in private) become your company’s defense against liability of undue worry from people believing you have a bias to anything but ... purity, transparency, and products actually being wha…

All good things come in time. Remember, I am just a dude that became a moderator of /r/Nootropics, decided to start testing other companies products and calling them out, then decided to start a nootropics company doing things right. It started out of my house, and I literally did everything in the beginning. It was just me and Jason at the start. I had to build this amazing team I have now. I had to build this facility we have, and buy all this equipment. I don't have venture capital funding behind me, or family money to fund this. I bootstrapped this thing with just my own money, and funded our expansion with the the sales we made. We literally should not exist according to modern business theory. It's almost impossible to do what we did, and there were times when we were days from going under. So I just want people to put what we have done into perspective. If someone handed me $5 million and said go build it right now, it would be a different story. I see all these startups getting insane levels of cash thrown at them, but they literally have no idea how to actually run a profitable business. Sometimes I wonder if doing it the way I did was the right way. However, I have come to learn that you can't beat the slow and steady machine of progress. You can't buy away the need for time. Some things just take time to do right, and I won't do things any other way.
