Potential GOOD interactions with current stack?

Original post in this thread

Hi everybody,

I’m interested in trying polygala (for anxiety, overthinking, pessimistic outlook and lack of focus) and the trio white jelly mushroom + Injuv + MSM for dry and itching skin/scalp (N.B. I have an autoimmune skin disease and low thyroid, even if not clinically hypo).

A few questions:

* based on your experience, which other supplements have good interactions with the ones listed above?

* I’m considering adding also an adaptogen, for helping with day-to-day stress and general well-being. Which is in your opinion the best one, taking into account my issues?
I was thinking mainly at cordyceps, ashwagandha or Panamax ginseng, but maybe there is something better

* could saffron or CBD oil somehow help with my issues? If yes, do they have potential bad interactions with polygala?

Thanks!

Would be interested in having u/MisterYouAreSoDumb opinion as well. Thanks

You should get some good mood/cognitive effects from the polygala and white jelly. Obviously better skin and joint health will be the most obvious good effects. The only side effect might be too oily of skin, but it seems like you have the opposite problem anyway. So it should just bring you into a more normal level. People with naturally oily skin might get too much on that stack.

It's going to depend on the person. What works best for one person might do nothing for you, or have side effects. We like to talk in generalities, but people's brain chemistries vary a lot more than most realize. So fin

How is polygala so amazing?

Replying to Majalisk · MYASD has mentioned there does seem to be some people who are essentially’super-responders’ to it, which is great for them

Yep, we have some customers that say polygala works better for them than anything else they have ever taken. Some of them have told me it has literally changed their lives. Then we have some people that are like "Eh, it'

Extended Release Polygala?

Yeah, we have thought about it. We just need to determine the best way to formulate that. We are also considering doing sublingual polygala tablets.

Is polygala a strong enough MAOI that it shouldn’t be combined with aniracetam?

No, it's not something you need to worry about. The main compound in polygala that has MAOI effects is called DISS (3,6'-disinapoyl sucrose). It has less than 0.5% bioavailability. This means it is likely not clinically
