Have you had any experience with cordyceps as a sleeping pill? When do you take your cordyceps?

This study says it's supposed to help you sleep:

In another Reddit article, a user has reported on a study saying that cordyceps prevents melatonin production. Unfortunately I cannot find them.

I've been taking Cordyceps for a long time before sleep and always without any problems. Lately, however, I feel that my sleep is not the best anymore. Of course, this can also be due to other factors.

Now I have switched to the morning dosage. But with this one I have the feeling that it makes me tired and unfocused. Maybe this is related to the adenosine content.

I take the product from Orived\*.

Thanks for your detailed answer.
How do you feel about taking cordyceps before bed?

I personally don't do it, as our cordyceps extracts stimulate me. However, after taking the Host Defense mycelium on grain shit, I could see how that would be possible. In fact, Host Defense's cordyceps had more cordycepin than our extract. However, there was ZERO stimulation from it. This is what led us down the path of trying to figure out what the stimulating/endurance compounds in cordyceps are. So it seems that certain extracts from certain strains could be useful before bed. However, good extracts from the fruiting bodies are stimulating. So those would not be the ones to do pre-bed dosing with.
