7,8-dhf and Piperine

I’m just curious as to if 7,8-dhf absorption is increased by Piperine? I did a little research and was unable to find an answer as to what enzymes metabolize 7,8-dhf. Also, if it matters I use 7,8-dhf sublingually.

7,8-DHF is a weak substrate for P-glycoprotein. So piperine might help some, but probably not a ton. Schisandra chinensis is another P-glycoprotein inhibitor. I know everyone likes to refer to that mouse study showing it had poor bioavailability. However, it is absolutely orally active. Noopept has low oral bioavailability and is orally active, too. Anyone that has taken 25-50mg of 7,8-DHF every day for month at a time can attest that it is orally active. P-glycoprotein is expressed in the mouth. So piperine would inhibit it there if taken sublingually. However, that's not the main thing we are worried about with 7,8-DHF.
