Noopept from ND has intensive, chemical/unpleasant taste. Is that OK?

I got it around year ago, but opened recently and immediately noticed the taste of the powder is completely different from previous orders. I would describe it like unpleasant artificial taste like some kind of soap. Should I be worried?

Noopept has always tasted like ass and smelled like dirty socks. I can definitely personally go to the office and smell the retained sample from your specific lot, though. However, we do organoleptic testing on each batch, and I would have been alerted if anything was drastically different. The same goes for ID, assay, and residual solvent analysis. If there was anything wrong we would catch it before approving that batch. If you give me your lot number I will definitely go taste the retained when I get back into town later this week.
