Varying Levels of powder in capsules?
Original post in this thread

Hey ND,
I recently bought 10mg NOOPEPT caps and I am noticing that if I squeeze the capsules some are quite full and some seem to not have anywhere near as much powder in them. Is there a reason for this? I am assuming that the dosages will not be accurate if there are varying levels of powder in the capsules?

What is your lot number? I will pull a retained sample and get you tons of data on how much they weigh, the variability, and even the assay of the capsules. Not only do we ensure capsules are in spec for fill weight, total weight, and capsule-to-capsule variability, but we also HPLC the finished capsules to ensure they contain the amount of noopept they should. We go to insane lengths to ensure things are in spec every single time.
I just had my lab pull the most recent documents from the 10mg capsules. The capsules are all within 10% variance from each other, and the capsule assay came in at 10.9mg/capsule. Everything is in spec. I'll list the exact variance of each sampled capsules for you.
* Capsule 1: +5.53%
* Capsule 2: -0.48%
* Capsule 3: -1.85%
* Capsule 4: -0.06%
* Capsule 5: -0.23%
* Capsule 6: -4.83%
* Capsule 7: -0.23%
* Capsule 8: -1.47%
* Capsule 9: -2.26%
* Capsule 10: +1.43%
* Capsule 11: -0.73%
* Capsule 12: -1.27%
* Capsule 13: -0.19%
* Capsule 14: +1.64%
* Capsule 15: +0.47%
* Capsule 16: -0.60%
* Capsule 17: +3.96%
* Capsule 18: -0.60%
* Capsule 19: +2.46%
* Capsule 20: -0.69%
That's about as perfect as you are going to get. Go weigh other company's capsules and see what the variance is. You will be surprised. Also, we assay the finished capsules for noopept content. You are getting an average of 10.9mg of noopept per capsule. The formulation and filling of this batch was almost perfect. Anyone dealing with manufacturing and encapsulation like this will tell you how hard it is to reach those tolerances. Furthermore, target gross mass for this batch was 230mg per capsule. The lowest tested capsule in the sample came in at 229.6. That's the LOWEST capsule tested. That means this entire batch is at or above target fill. That's how we plan things, so that people are never short. We always shift ourselves higher than label claim. This is reflected in the assay result, too. That's why you are getting 10.9mg of noopept on average per capsule. We put more noopept than needed in to ensure we are always over our target. Then we even put more capsules into each bottle than stated. If you get a 30ct bottle, you are always getting 31-32 capsules. Literally nobody else in the industry is doing what we are doing to ensure customers are getting exactly what they think or more every single time.
To top it off, if we do have a batch that falls outside our variance acceptance criteria, we don't have to scrap the entire batch anymore. We have a machine that weighs every single capsule in a run, and sorts them by the specs we set. So let's say we have a batch that has 1 out of every 20 capsules that is 26% off. In the past we would have to scrap the batch and redo the whole thing. That sucked balls. Now we have this machine that we can run the entire batch through and pull the out of spec ones out. Then we only scrap and redo the out of spec ones. It's MUCH better than the past. There's no way we could hand sort and weigh 2 million capsules manually. However, this machine now can. We let it run overnight, and we come in the next day to a completely sorted batch of in/out of spec. Then the in spec capsules can go into production while the out of spec ones are reworked. It's super cool. At no point will you ever get a batch from us that is out of spec.
