ND edits reviews and doesn't tell you before or after you post it?

I submitted a review for the KSM-66 capsules yesterday, and I went back to read it after it officially posted to make sure I didn't make any major typos or anything, and I noticed that a couple things were definitely changed from how I originally wrote it. Nothing big, but they changed any time I wrote the word anxiety and replaced it with anxiousness or anxious feelings about...
I'm a little concerned by this. While they didn't change anything about the overall message of my review, they did change some words and that bothers me. If they're willing to do that without disclosure, what else could they be changing on other reviews? What if they're changing certain words on negative reviews to make them less harsh? Idk. It's just sketchy.

Then I recommend you don’t post reviews that conflict with your legal responsibilities. Especially in reviews that emphasize “feels,” changing the wording is unacceptable. This is the only complaint I’ve had about ND, but it’s such a weird position to defend. If you can’t post the reviews because they don’t match standards your website needs to conform to, that doesn’t mean you should edit them until they do.

The alternative is not allowing customers to review at all. While you may feel that's a better option, the vast majority of people will disagree with you. At least with this solution you can write a bad review if you are disappointed with something. It may not say everything you want, but you can at least voice your disappointment. As the OP said, the modifications did not change the spirit of what he was saying. If we are unable to modify a review without changing the spirit, then it will just be changed to the star rating. I think you are going to be hard pressed to find people that would agree that elimination of reviews altogether is a better solution.
Let's say you buy something from us, but you hate it. It just doesn't work for you. You go and make a 1 star review on it saying how it made your depression worse and caused anxiety. Under this solution, we would take out references to the diseases and modify it to maintain the spirit of your review, while remaining compliant with regulations. Under your solution, we censor your review altogether. Which solution leaves the consumer with a more satisfactory result?
