Frustrated by the lack of quality lion's mane

Original post in this thread

eclecticlove1 · 11 points

I've only had high quality lions mane a few times, but I've had it enough that I know when it's the real deal. When its good, you feel the effects very clearly from the first dose, not "after a few weeks". The brand that I relied on recently started making a lower quality product.

The worst is when I try a new brand, and it turns out to just be repackaged Nammex crap.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Is there a brand that works well as an acute nootropic, that is also affordable?

Just curious what main reasons to switch from nammex to something ?)
PS that release of data would be like new site/service like labdoor or just some post on Reddit? :)

For everything we sell, we set our own specs and hold suppliers to our standards. It only make sense we do that for mushrooms, too. I want to advance things. I need control to do that.

Yes, this will be like a LabDoor, but actually properly testing and rating things. This will also be a non-profit. There is no reason an industry watchdog needs to be for-profit.

This is part of the wholesale price list for "Nammex", the supplier of mushroom powders that many companies repackage/encapsulate and sell for a huge profit margin

Replying to eclecticlove1 · So where do you get the powder for the 8:1 dual phase extract?

We have our own suppliers, just like we do for all our ND branded products. They make it to our specifications. Then we test them in our lab for ID, content, beta-glucans, heavy metals, and now residual solvent residues.

Why the lion's mane you're buying is probably bunk.

First off, our Lion's Mane is not a traditional water extract. The water is used to break down the chitin in the cell walls, but the entire mushroom material is kept in. So you don't lose anything that you would with a f

Is ND done launching new products?

We are absolutely NOT done with new products. We are in the thick of development for a bunch of them. Some of them are just taking longer than expected to get perfect, so we have had a lull in releases. That's just becau
