Frustrated by the lack of quality lion's mane

Original post in this thread

I've only had high quality lions mane a few times, but I've had it enough that I know when it's the real deal. When its good, you feel the effects very clearly from the first dose, not "after a few weeks". The brand that I relied on recently started making a lower quality product.

The worst is when I try a new brand, and it turns out to just be repackaged Nammex crap.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Is there a brand that works well as an acute nootropic, that is also affordable?

It's ok. I already confirmed that it is nammex

So much for that "guarantee" you gave me! Lol

We do NOT use nammex for our mushrooms anymore. If you have a question about our products, ask us before going out and trying to spread inaccurate and misleading information.

I guarantee you we do more testing on mushrooms than anyone else in the space. We have bottles and jars from countless suppliers out there, and have analyzed them all in the lab. You'd be surprised at some of the data. We have found multiple completely fake ones from suppliers many people here use. I am trying to decide on the best way to release this data, but some of the data is VERY bad for some of these vendors. I am sick and tired of competitors trying to smear us and spread lies. So I will release all this data soon. My only mission is to find the truth, and advance the analytical standards and scientific understanding of these mushrooms. If there is a better product out there, I want to find it and empirically validate that in our lab. I have no problems admitting we are not the best if the data shows that. That just means we can improve our products further. That's the entire reason I started this company to begin with.

This is part of the wholesale price list for "Nammex", the supplier of mushroom powders that many companies repackage/encapsulate and sell for a huge profit margin

Replying to eclecticlove1 · So where do you get the powder for the 8:1 dual phase extract?

We have our own suppliers, just like we do for all our ND branded products. They make it to our specifications. Then we test them in our lab for ID, content, beta-glucans, heavy metals, and now residual solvent residues.

Why the lion's mane you're buying is probably bunk.

First off, our Lion's Mane is not a traditional water extract. The water is used to break down the chitin in the cell walls, but the entire mushroom material is kept in. So you don't lose anything that you would with a f

Is ND done launching new products?

We are absolutely NOT done with new products. We are in the thick of development for a bunch of them. Some of them are just taking longer than expected to get perfect, so we have had a lull in releases. That's just becau
