Hi. I love immune defense but i’m looking for something safe for a nursing mother and 7 year old child. What would you recommend?
I’d be ok with a good pro/pre biotic too.
Thank you

I thought anything but water would break a fast, according to Dr. Rhonda Patrick?
Wouldn't your supplement intake, be breaking your fast? You're obviously doing it, just wondering how that works.

That's a ridiculous standard for what defines a fast, in my opinion. Calories and blood sugar/insulin spikes are what we are avoiding. If something has no calories and doesn't spike insulin, how is that breaking the fast? I have not seen any data that something with 1-3 calories adversely affects autophagy, and it certainly doesn't affect ketosis. I avoid anything with 5 calories or more. That's my standard, and it has been working for a long time. Could those few calories be slightly affecting autophagy? Perhaps, but it is definitely not eliminating or significantly reducing it.
